The Turbovac SB520 vacuum packer is part of the Aluminium vacuum packing range.

The vacuum packer is floor standing and is constructed from stainless steel with a coated aluminium chamber.

These vacuum packers are extremely reliable and competitively priced on both the initial purchase and the required on going servicing and maintenance.

Vacuum packer service kits are available to buy direct from our website and come with a complete set of instructions to help carry out the service.

The aluminium range of vacuum packing machines has proved to be one of the most popular range of vacuum packers on the market.

The SB520 vacuum packing machine comes with a digital display which can loaded with upto 9 different programs to suit different product types and different bag thicknesses. Each program requires the customer to manually enter the vacuum and seal times which are then stored under that program number.

The SB520 vacuum packer has various options available, starting with the electric supply. The vacuum packer comes as standard with a Busch 063m3 vacuum pump running of a 3 phase supply, however this can be changed to the equivalent 1 phase vacuum pump for an extra cost.

The vacuum packer has two double-seal seal beams, one on the left and one on the right hand side of the machine which are of 500mm in length. The distance between the two seal beams is 510mm. The double seal can be changed to a seal and cut of simply by changing one of the seal beam wires.

The vacuum packing machine also comes with the option of sensor control, this means that the customer programs the control panel with the amount of vacuum required rather than the vacuum time, so the machine continues to pull a vacuum until it reaches the desired level of vacuum for each product no matter what size it is. This enables every product packed whether large or small to be packed at the same level of vacuum.

The vac packer can also be fitted with a gas flush option which enables the vacum bag to be flushed with a different combination of gases to help prolong the life of the food packed within. This is often used for products that would normally be crushed upon vacuum and instead of pulling the bag around the product and crushing it, the gas is flushed into the bag creating a sealed bag with a product surrounded by the gas chosen.

This is the smallest of the floor standing vacuum packing machines in the range so if you require a slightly bigger machine take a look at the SB820 vacuum packer.
