The Formatic R2200 burger machine is the perfect solution to your meatball forming and portioning requirements. The Formatic meatball machine is able to form a wide range of products including meat, fish, potato, vegetable and ethnic, butter, cheese as well as bakery and confectionary into a variety of different shapes and sizes. The Formatic meatball machine is the industry standard for small to high volume food producers.

The R2200 burger machine comes as standard with a 15kg hopper and fitted with 35mm meatball drum. Different sized meatballs can be made by using a different sized drum, so if 35mm is too small or big for your meatball production then please call. The maximum size meatball you can do with two forms next to each other is 50mm. The R2200 machine is capable of producing 4400 meatballs per hour but comes with a variable speed control so you are in control of how fast it works. The meatball machine is suited to a variety of mixtures and numerous textures and consistencies and uses synchronised paddles to gently press the mixture into the required shaped drum.

Where the standard R2200 burger machine can produce burgers from 5-24mm in thickness, the R2200 meatball machine can produce meatballs with 5-34mm thicknesses. SFM would always suggest trying to match the thickness of the meatball with the diameter as close as possible, so for example using a 35mm diameter meatball drum, it is best to use 34mm depth. Then the form of the meatball is as close to round as possible and only a small amount of hand finishing is require to produce the perfect round meatball. If hand finishing the meatball is too labour intensive for your production then take a look at the Meatball Rounder. The meatball pellets produced from the burger machine travel along its conveyor belt and then drop down into the meatball rounder. The meatball rounder then rounds off the meatball and places the meatballs onto the conveyor belt.

Various different shaped drums can be bought for the Formatic burger machine, from simple circle or rectangles to more complex shapes like Christmas trees, gingerbread men etc. The only thing that limits you is the available size on the actual drum itself. For more information about the drum sizes and shapes provided please contact are sales team on 0161 366 1777.

Various further options are avaialbe for the meatball making machine including an extended hopper, auto wire cleaner, extended conveyor belts etc. For more information on the options then please call our sales team on 0161 366 1777, or fill out the contact form and we will call you back as soon as possible.

Customers who are looking to take the next step in meatball production should be considering taking the step to REX vacuum fillers and meatball attachments.

If you already have a sausage filler, then take a look at the Sheerline Burger Unit which attaches straight onto the filler and is capable of producing upto 188 burger per hour.
