The traditional piston sausage filler works by hydraulically pushing a piston plate through the chamber which then pusher the sausage mix out through the lid and then through the nozzle and into your casings. Each model piston sausage filler will have a different capacity chamber to allow for smaller or larger batch sizes, with most of the models available in 1ph or 3ph electric supply.
